The most trusted name in backcountry safety
Backcountry Access (BCA) was founded in 1994 in Boulder, Colorado, by passionate backcountry enthusiasts with one clear goal: to make the backcountry a place everyone can enjoy, with the right safety gear to match. That focus has led to a long list of firsts, from the first digital avalanche transceiver in 1996 to the Float avalanche airbag system and BC Link radios.
Today, BCA is the preferred choice of avalanche professionals, skiers, snowboarders and snowmobilers worldwide. Beacons, probes, shovels, airbags and packs, all developed with one thing in mind: when it matters, you can rely on it.
For us at Firn Collective, the mountains are a way of life, and safety is part of that. That’s why we’re proud to represent BCA in the Benelux. Reliable equipment, backed by decades of experience and a commitment to education, is something every rider deserves.
